STRUCTURAL STEEL DETAILING
Sky Steel provides precise fabrication and erection drawings in line with industry codes and standards. We create tailored steel shop drawings and field use drawings customized to meet each fabricator's specific needs. Our team also offers 3D models and detailed material takeoff lists to streamline procurement and ensure accuracy. To ensure better quality and avoid delays, we schedule a kickoff meeting to address all RFIs and fully understand the fabricator's needs. We also coordinate closely with contractors and trades to identify and resolve potential conflicts early, ensuring smooth project execution. Additionally, we accommodate design changes and revisions swiftly and accurately, ensuring the project remains on schedule and within budget.

Sky Steel supports BIM coordination by providing accurate steel models to assist BIM teams with their workflow. We actively participate in coordination meetings, offering 24/7 support to ensure seamless transitions and efficient collaboration. ESTIMATION
With years of experience in the steel detailing industry, Sky Steel understands the challenges fabricators face, particularly when it comes to special or less common steel profiles that can cause delays in procurement. To help mitigate these issues, we provide an Advance Bill of Materials in various formats such as Excel, XML, EJE, KSS, or PDF, allowing fabricators to pre-book steel well in advance and streamline procurement. Our precise steel quantity estimates and early identification of potential procurement hurdles enable fabricators to stay ahead of material shortages. Additionally, we track all project revisions and promptly notify the fabricator of any changes, giving them ample time to adjust procurement strategies and ensure the correct steel is available when needed.
